When you heard the word clown, or see one, most of us think of fun and games. But for many people the idea to talk about or see a clown is very scary. It is also a lot of people do not understand. Most people try to hide it, unless they have a serious fear of clowns, and men are less likely to share it with others than women. Fear of clowns is real, so Remember that if you encounter a person who has one. They may not be able to express why, but respect it. Think of some fears and phobias you have and how you would feel if someone ridiculed you for it. Never force a child to come into contact with a clown. I am surprised at the number of parents who have done this, further traumatizing the child.
